Invite your team & set their access

Add your crew to the roster, invite them to log in, and understand what managers vs. techs can see.

Getting started6 in this section

The Team page is your roster: who works here, their skills, hours, load and pay. A roster entry doesn't need a login — add everyone so scheduling knows your capacity, then invite only the people who should sign in.

  1. 1

    Add the person

Team → Add member. Skills and working hours matter: the AI Scheduler and booking availability both respect them.

  2. 2

    Open the Access tab

On their member page, choose Invite to log in and pick a role — Manager for the office, Tech for the bench.

  3. 3

    They accept

The invite email lands them on a set-your-password page, and then on My Work. If invite emails aren't configured yet, the Access tab shows a copyable sign-in link you can text them instead — nothing is blocked.

What each role sees

AreaManagerTech
My Work, Calendar, Workflow, Documents, Help
Dashboard, Inbox, Leads, Quotes, Invoices, Customers
Services, Team, Inventory, Market, AI, Reports, Settings
Ask Dash (answers about the shop)✓ (read-only — no settings changes)

Troubleshooting

A team member logs in and sees “Ask your shop owner to add you”.

Why: They have an account but no membership in your shop — usually a signup with a different email.

Fix: Check the email on their Team → Access tab matches the one they signed in with; re-invite with the right address if not.
