Bottom line: GoDaddy is in beta, and it isn't a one-click sign-in: GoDaddy publishes no third-party OAuth, so you create an account token and paste it on the connector's own page. Service VIN writes the booking record when you press Apply and nothing else in your DNS is touched. It does not watch the record afterwards — there is no background job re-checking your zone, and the connector page is where you confirm it is still right.

The DNS entry for your booking domain is created by Service VIN rather than copied by you into a control panel you barely use.

Setting it up, in order
Open the GoDaddy connector page
It has its own page in settings, because there's no OAuth handshake to send you through.
Paste an account token
Create the token in your GoDaddy account and paste it in. It's held encrypted, and removing it stops the connection.
Pick the domain and let it write
Choose the domain your booking page should live on. Service VIN resolves the zone and writes the one record it needs; you can re-apply from the same page any time it needs writing again.

Does Service VIN connect to GoDaddy?
Yes, in beta. If your domain is at GoDaddy, connecting lets Service VIN create the DNS record for your booking subdomain from the connector page. Nothing else in your DNS is touched, and nothing runs on a schedule — if the record is ever changed elsewhere, you re-apply it from the same page.
Is it a one-click sign-in?
No. GoDaddy publishes no third-party OAuth, so the connection is an account token you create in GoDaddy and paste onto the connector's page. Showing a Connect button there would advertise a handshake that doesn't exist.
What if my domain is somewhere else?
Then you add the record yourself, the ordinary way. The booking settings page shows the exact target to point a CNAME at, and your storefront works on its hosted link the whole time either way.
Could it break my website or my email?
It writes the record for your booking subdomain and nothing else — once, when you apply it, and again whenever you re-apply from the connector page. Your website and mail records aren't modified, and nothing runs on a schedule against your DNS.
