Instagram integration

Fresh installs to the feed, from the job they came off.

The photos are already on the job — the intake shots, the finished hood, the edge nobody else would have wrapped that way. Connect the professional account and they can go to the feed from there, scheduled, with a caption written in your voice.

The short answer

What does the Instagram integration actually do?

  • Where it stands: Coming soon.
  • Which way the data moves: Service VIN → tool.
  • Photo posts to your feed, scheduled or now
  • One composer covers Google, Facebook and Instagram
  • AI-written captions in your shop's voice

Bottom line: Instagram is coming soon, and it publishes PHOTO posts to the feed — not Reels, not Stories, not carousels. It needs an Instagram professional account and it's part of the Social posting add-on. The connection opens when the provider access behind it is in place.

Why connect Instagram

Fresh installs straight to your feed.

Connect your Instagram professional account and publish photo posts straight from the Reviews hub — same composer as Google Posts, with scheduling and the AI writer. Part of the Social posting add-on.

  • Photo posts, now or scheduled

Publish to the feed from the app, or queue it for the hour your customers actually look at their phone.

  • Captions in your shop's voice

The AI writes the caption from the job. You edit it, or you send it.

  • One composer for Google, Facebook and Instagram

Write it once and pick where it goes, rather than three apps and three copies of the same sentence.

How it works

Setting it up, in order

  1. Have a professional account

The connection uses Instagram Login for professional accounts, which is what permits publishing at all. A personal account can't be connected.

  2. Wait for the row to open, then connect

The tile shows Coming soon until the provider access is in place. With the Social posting add-on on, connecting is a sign-in and an account picker.

  3. Post from the job

Pick the photos, take the caption or rewrite it, and publish or schedule.

Setting up Instagram, step by step: Reviews: reply to Google reviews, publish posts & embed the wall.

FAQ

Instagram, answered

Can Service VIN post to Instagram?

The connector is built and badged coming soon. When it opens it publishes photo posts to the feed — scheduled or immediately — with AI-written captions, from the same composer that covers Google Posts and Facebook. It needs an Instagram professional account and it's part of the Social posting add-on.

Does it post Reels, Stories or carousels?

No. Photo posts to the feed, and that's the whole list. It would be the easiest over-claim on this page to make and the easiest one for a shop to catch us on.

Do I need a professional account?

Yes. The connection uses Instagram Login for professional accounts, which is what allows publishing at all — a personal account can't be connected.

Is it the same connection as Facebook?

No, they're separate connectors through the same add-on. Connecting one doesn't connect the other, though the composer covers both once they are.

Or start smaller

Run the whole shop.

Quotes, bookings, film inventory and the AI crew in one login. Instagram is not connectable yet — everything else here is, on the free trial, before you decide anything.
