Slack integration
The shop tells the channel. Nobody watches a dashboard.
A big quote getting accepted is worth a ping. Connect a Slack channel and Service VIN drops a message when a lead comes in, a quote is accepted, an invoice is paid, or a job moves stage — and you pick which of those four you actually want.

The short answer
What does the Slack integration actually do?
- Where it stands: Beta.
- Which way the data moves: Service VIN → tool.
- Job-won and invoice-paid alerts to a channel
Bottom line: Slack is in beta and it's one-way: Service VIN posts into a channel you choose and nothing comes back the other way. You authorize it with a Slack sign-in and pick the channel and the events on its own settings page.
Why connect Slack
Ping the shop when it matters.
Drop a message in a channel when a big quote is accepted or an invoice is paid — no dashboard-watching required.
Job won and invoice paid, in the channel
The moments the whole shop wants to hear about, in the place the shop already talks. No tab to keep open.
A new lead, the moment it lands
The lead that arrives at 7pm is in the channel at 7pm, not in somebody's inbox on Thursday.
You choose which four
New lead, quote accepted, invoice paid, job moved stage. Tick the ones your shop acts on; a channel full of things nobody acts on is a channel people mute.

How it works
Setting it up, in order
Connect Slack
Sign in to Slack from the integrations settings and authorize Service VIN. The grant covers posting a message and listing channels so you can pick one — it does not read your conversations.
Pick the channel and the events
Choose where the messages land and which of them you want. A channel full of things nobody acts on is a channel people mute.
Leave it alone
There's nothing to sync and no button to press. The events fire as they happen.

FAQ
Slack, answered
Does Service VIN post to Slack?
Yes — a Slack connection is available in beta. It posts four events to a channel you choose: a new lead, a quote accepted, an invoice paid, and a job moving stage. It's one-way: Service VIN writes into Slack and reads nothing back.
Can my team reply in Slack and have it reach the customer?
No. Slack here is a notification channel, not a second inbox. Customer conversations live in Service VIN's own shared inbox, where the text, the call recording and the job sit on one thread.
What does Service VIN get access to in Slack?
Posting a message, posting into a public channel, and listing channels so you can pick one. It doesn't read your messages, and there's nothing in the grant that would let it.
Can I choose which alerts get posted?
Yes, on the connection's own settings page. Pick the channel and pick the events; anything you turn off isn't sent.
Or start smaller
The call you missed is the job you lost.
Every missed call answered in seconds. The quote you promised, drafted before you hang up. Booked straight into your calendar.
It answers from your real services, your real prices and your real calendar — and writes the booking into them. No migration, no data to move — it runs beside whatever you use today.
Run the whole shop — Slack included.
Quotes, bookings, film inventory and the AI crew in one login. Connect Slack on the free trial and watch a real payment or a real booking move between two systems before you decide anything.
