Do I need to set up email in Service VIN?
No. Email is the one connection that sets itself up: every shop gets a verified sender the moment it's created, with your shop's name over the platform's verified sending address. There's no API key to paste, no domain to verify, and it can't be disconnected — there'd be nothing left to send a quote with.
Can customers reply to the emails?
Yes — replies route to your shop's address. What this connector doesn't do is bring the reply back into Service VIN as a threaded conversation: it is the sending rail, one-way out, and the registry says so on its own row.
Can I send from my own domain?
Not through this connector. The sender is your shop's name over the platform's verified address, which is what makes deliverability something you inherit rather than something you configure. Your branding — the logo and the accent colour — is what makes the email yours.
