Link straight to a service from your own website

Put a link on your site that opens your booking page with that service already chosen and its add-ons in front of the customer — instead of at the top of your menu.

Online booking5 in this section

Your own website probably has a page per service — a Book Interior Detailing button, a menu row for Paint Protection. Send that button to your plain booking link and the customer, who has just told your website exactly what they want, lands at the top of a menu and has to pick it again. Every step between the button and the thing they asked for is a place to lose them.

A direct link closes that gap. Same booking page, same prices, same availability — it just opens on the thing the button named.

LinkWhat the customer sees when it opens
Service linkThat service is already in their booking, and its add-ons open on top so they can pick extras straight away.
Category linkYour menu opens already inside that section (e.g. Paint Protection). Nothing is added — a category is a place to look, not a thing to buy.

A link never books anything

It is a door, not a booking. Nothing is reserved, nothing is charged, and no add-on is ticked on the customer's behalf. They still answer every question you ask — vehicle, time, contact details, deposit — exactly as they would if they had typed your booking address themselves.

  1. 1

    Open the card

Settings → Online booking → Link straight to a service. It lists every service you sell online and every category you group them under, each with its own Copy link button.

  2. 2

    Find the one you want

There's a search box at the top — type part of a service name to narrow the list. Under each name is a line telling you exactly what that link will do when a customer opens it.

  3. 3

Copy it, and paste it into your site

Use it as the href on a button or a menu item, the same way you'd use your plain booking link. Anywhere you can paste a URL works — WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, Webflow or hand-written HTML.

  4. 4

    Or copy the embed instead

Flip the Link / Embed toggle above the list and the Copy button hands you an embed snippet instead of a URL. Same destination — the storefront renders *inside* your page, already on that service, rather than sending the customer away from it.

The “Link straight to a service” card in Settings → Online booking, listing each category and service with a Copy link button.
Every service and category you sell online, each with its own link. The line under each name says what that link does.

Why some links open the add-ons and others don't. Look at the second line on each row — it is telling you which of two things is about to happen, and it is never a guess:

“Adds it and opens its add-ons” — this service has extras authored on it, so the customer gets that menu the moment they reach it. That's the decision they haven't made yet.

“Adds it and goes straight to the times” — this service has no extras of its own, so there is nothing to choose. Popping an empty menu would just be a box in the way, so the customer is taken to the calendar with the service already booked.

If you want a service to open its add-ons, give it add-ons: Services → the service → its extras. The row here updates itself.

The booking storefront opened from a direct link, with the service already in the booking and its add-on menu open on top.
What the customer gets from a service link: the service already in their booking, and its extras in front of them.

Your own domain makes these read as yours

The links are built from whatever address your storefront answers on. Connect your own domain in the Your web address card below and every link in this list starts reading as book.yourshop.com instead of ours — with nothing to re-copy, because the links already in your website point at the same storefront. It's a nice-to-have, not a requirement: the feature works identically either way.

What happens when the catalog changes. Links are checked against your live menu every time one is opened, so they can't go stale in a bad way. Retire a service, hide it from online booking, or empty a category, and a link that named it simply opens your ordinary booking page at step one — never an error, and never a booking for work you no longer sell.

That means you can leave links in your website through a catalog rewrite without auditing them. Worst case a customer takes the long way round on a page that works.

Direct links are part of Command

On any other plan the links are simply ignored: the customer still reaches your booking page and can still book everything you sell, they just start at the top of the menu like any other visitor. Nothing on your website breaks and no link has to be changed — the same links start working again the moment you upgrade.

Troubleshooting

My link opens the booking page but nothing is selected.

Why: Either the service is no longer sold online (retired, hidden or its category emptied), or the account is not on Command.

Fix: Open Settings → Online booking → Link straight to a service. If the service has no row there, your storefront no longer sells it — re-publish it under Services. If the card shows an upgrade notice instead of a list, the plan is the reason.

The add-on menu doesn't open for one of my services.

Why: That service has no extras of its own, so there is nothing to choose.

Fix: The row says which behaviour you'll get. Add extras to the service under Services and the row — and the link — switch to opening the menu.

The link still shows our servicevin.com address after I connected a domain.

Why: The list is built from the address your storefront currently answers on; a domain that hasn't finished connecting isn't it yet.

Fix: Check the connection status in the Your web address card. Once it's live the list regenerates with your domain — and links you already pasted keep working, because they point at the same storefront.

I changed a service's name and want to know if the link still works.

Why: Nothing — links are keyed to the service itself, not its name.

Fix: Renaming, re-pricing or re-describing a service doesn't touch its link. Only removing it from online booking does.

Common questions

Does a direct link skip any of my questions?

No. It only answers the one question the button already answered — which service. Your vehicle step, times, contact details and deposit all run exactly as they do for anyone else. If you ask for vehicle size before the menu, the customer answers that first and the add-ons open after it.

Can a customer add more services after following one?

Yes. It's a normal booking from that point on — they can close the add-on menu, browse back to the menu and add anything else. Closing the menu keeps the service the link put in their booking, which is what your button promised them.

Can I set the price or the quantity in the link?

No, deliberately. A link carries which service and nothing else — no price, no quantity, no pre-ticked extras. Everything with a number on it is worked out on the booking page against your live catalog and the vehicle the customer picks there, so a link can never quote a price you no longer charge.

Do these work inside the embed too?

Yes — that's the Link / Embed toggle. The embed snippet carries the same destination, so an embed dropped on your own “Interior Detailing” page opens on interior detailing.

Will Google index these links as separate pages?

No. Every one of them points back at your main booking page as its canonical address, so your ranking stays on the one page rather than being split across a link per service.

Where do I get a service's link if I only have the service open?

The list in Settings → Online booking is the only place links are generated, and that's on purpose — it's the one place that can check a link against what your storefront will actually accept. Search the service by name there.
